THE RED ROCK STORY
Red Rock is built on three values: CAFFEINE, CULTURE, and COMMUNITY.
But before we get to that, let's back up.
In 2005, The Highway Community purchased Red Rock Coffee in order to create a place of genuine community. We wanted to create a great spot to meet and hang out that also gave back to the wider community.
We’ve grown quite a bit since then! We’ve brought in a whole lot of top-tier equipment to help us make the best coffee we possibly can, with top-of-the-line espresso machines cranking out perfect shot after perfect shot and scales that weigh accurately down to the tenth of a gram. We’ve added a second floor to our cafe where open mics, local bands, and live shows happen every week.
Red Rock is still going strong! When you buy a drink from us you can be sure that your money is going to a good place. We try to keep our prices in line with our expenses, and when we’re making a profit, we take all of it and put it back into the community. We donate to charitable organizations, advocacy groups, and community programs.
We aim to buy the best coffee we can from the best farmers, importers, and roasters. It's why we contract with Four Barrel, a company that shares our values, and why we are dedicated topreparing a delicious cup for you that stays true to the bean's provenance.
We to support local artists, musicians, and the vibrant community of smart, talented, and interesting people who make up Silicon Valley. We want to create a place where the genius of this area expresses itself in the arts, in music, and in conversation.
We foster an environment where people can gather and feel safe. We want our cafe to be a place of connection, friendship, and conversation.
