Zen is a UK born, California bred, performer, musician and songwriter.
Zen grew up on the San Francisco Bay Area Peninsula, in what is now known as Silicon Valley, and in 2007 graduated from the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA where his focuses included Guitar Performance and Music Business. Upon returning to San Francisco, his band Please Do Not Fight became a staple of the California Bay Area music landscape. Before disbanding in 2012, the band hosted a series of rock concerts, saw airplay on alternative radio mainstay Live 105 and performed with the likes of Young The Giant, OK Go, The Dø and The Jealous Sound.
Since then Zen has continued writing and performing his unique brand of power pop folk under his own name, opening up for The Matches at Leo's in Oakland, CA and recording new material at The Dirt Room with producer Jonathan Devoto.
Nik Bartunek is a local Bay Area singer, songwriter, and musician. Nik has been playing in the music scene for the last 12 years, bringing his own unique sound to venues and concert halls. Fronting the local indie rock group Picture Atlantic, he has opened for the likes of Coldplay, Say Anything, Eisley, Dan Black, Styx, Biffy Clyro, and other notable acts. Nik has now begun to release music under his own name, showcasing a more elegant, acoustic, and folk inspired side to his songwriting. He is currently writing a new EP to be released in mid 2016.
Field Medic is the alter-ego and side project of Kevin Patrick Sullivan, the frontman and songwriter for the award winning bay area Folk Punk group Rin Tin Tiger. Sporting a diverse breadth of style and inflection, Field Medic features lo-fi production values with hi-concept lyrical and musical elements. Showcasing local talent through his Sun Room record Label, Field Medic is a cultural and artistic fixture in the eclectic whirlpool of the San Francisco music scene.
